Capital Area United Way Joomla! Site
Working with a team of designers and programmers, most of which happened to be TechSmith employees, we developed this site focusing largely on trimming down the original site’s information structure using handwritten site maps and developing wireframes in Photoshop borrowing existing company stock images and design templates.
A major improvement of this Joomla! site over the original is that it breaks its overly complicated content structure into easily recognizable categories. Rebuilding its structure was a fascinating exercise in content management. It was a highly enjoyable weekend, especially considering that the TechSmith people gave me a free copy of their fantastic Snagit and Camtasia programs.
